Dubai has transformed from a desert into one of the most stunning cities in the world in just 20 years. The city holds the highest skyscraper in the world and more are being added regularly.
Jens Fersterra is a German photographer who loves taking pictures of cityscapes and his trip to Dubai really shows how beautiful the city is. The city almost looks like an imaginary place you’d see in a film.

René Magritte (1898-1967) was a Belgian artist of the Surrealist movement. Despite being recognised as one of the most well-known artists of the 20th century, Magritte didn’t really find much success until the 1950s. Like other surrealist artists, particularly Dalí, Magritte often used repeated imagery and symbols in his work, such as apples, suited men, covered faces and italic text.
I made this from a timelapse I shot from a bridge over highway 401. After I stacked all 253 photos from the timelapse, the lane on left was solid white and the lane on the right was mostly orange. it was too much, but I liked the star trails in the sky, so I kept them and stacked about a dozen photos for the lights in the foreground.
